Jan is a founding principal and hands-on designer who develops strategic solutions in visual communications for corporations, schools, foundations, and museums in the Midwest and across the U.S.A.

Her career has included long-term relationships and significant assignments for Fortune 100 corporations and major cultural institutions, working with clients like Allstate, Boeing, PepsiCo, Tenneco, Shedd Aquarium, Chicago Botanic Garden, Freedom Museum, Chicago Public Schools, and the Robert R. McCormick Foundation.

Jan’s work has earned accolades from Graphis, Print, Communication Arts, Triad, Nicholson, LACP (League of American Communications Professionals) and ARC (MerComm Annual Report Competition). Before teaming up with Jef Heidekat to form Bring in 2009, Jan served for fourteen years as one of the principals of Chicago’s Meta4 Design, Inc.
